Host CPR, First Aid and AED Training Classes as a way to raise money for your church, school, non profit organization, club or group. Call 561-762-0500 for more information.
If your group would like to raise money we can help. Here is how it works. Your group prints and sells tickets to one or several CPR AED classes to be held at a date and location of your choosing. The CPR School will agree to teach this class, provide trained, fun, professional instructors, CPR manikins, AED Trainers, and other related training materials and certify all students in CPR / AED and issue 2 year certification cards. We will do so for 50% of the ticket price.
For example your group sells 40 tickets for a First Aid CPR class. The cost per person for this class is $45. The total money raised is $1,800. We then split this with you. Your group was able to raise $900 while offering a valuable, life saving class. You should also be able to raise additional monies through concessions, such as food and drinks for sale.
If you sell 40 tickets at $45 each = $1,800 - This is $900 to your organization. If you sell 100 tickets at $45 each = $4,500 - This is $2,250 to your organization.
Did you know that certain professions require CPR certification? Personal trainers & aerobics instructors, security guards, hotel workers, teachers and daycare workers are typically required to have current CPR certifications.
Florida Fundraising Ideas: Our CPR fundraiser is ideal for school fundraisers, church fund raising, youth sports and non-profit charity event fund raisers.
What’s nice about our fundraisers – there is nothing to buy and selling a ticket to a CPR class is much more fun than selling candy, cookies and magazine subscriptions. We help schools, churches, and non-profit groups raise more funds and save more lives!
Which groups would this fundraiser work for? Any nonprofit group that needs to raise money. Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts, High School Groups scuh as the marching band, ski club, The Special Olympics, Church groups, non profit organizations and many more. Any group that would like to raise money and at the same time offer a service that could help someone save a life.
When you sell a ticket let people know that not only are they donating to a very good cause, they will be having fun while learning how to save a loved one or a co-workers life.

What is C.P.R.? Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency medical procedure for a victim of cardiac arrest or, in some circumstances, respiratory arrest. CPR is performed in hospitals, or in the community by laypersons or by emergency response professionals.
CPR consists of artificial blood circulation and artificial respiration (i.e. chest compressions and lung ventilation). CPR is generally continued, usually in the presence of advanced life support, until the patient regains a heart beat (called "return of spontaneous circulation" or "ROSC") or is declared dead.
CPR is unlikely to restart the heart, but rather its purpose is to maintain a flow of oxygenated blood to the brain and the heart, thereby delaying tissue death and extending the brief window of opportunity for a successful resuscitation without permanent brain damage. Defibrillation and advanced life support are usually needed to restart the heart.
How long is the class? Class times vary from several hours to a full day depending on the size of the group and what level of training your group requires. We can work with you to design a CPR, First Aid and AED class that is right for your group.
What is an AED? An Automated External Defibrillator or AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the potentially life threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia in a patient. The AED is able to treat the patient by application of electrical therapy which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm. AEDs are designed to be simple so that anyone can use one. Proper use of an AED is taught in our CPR first aid classes.
Do you sell AED's? Yes. We not only sell AED's but we can also train you how to use and maintain a defibrillator. Our AED’s are ideal for both commercial (Public Access Defibrillators) and the home (Home Defibrillators).

Most reported episodes of choking in infants and children occur during eating or play, when parents or childcare providers are present.
What about Stoke? Yes. Stroke is the nation’s No. 3 killer and a leading cause of severe, long-term disability. During the class we will discuss the signs of stroke, when to dial 911 and how to get the best treatment for the injured person.
Who will be teaching the classes? Keith Murray is the owner of The CPR School, LLC. Keith is a former Florida EMT Firefighter and has over 20 years experience teaching. Why use your CPR Training vs. another CPR School? No written test, Two year certification, cards can be issued at the time of the class, we are fully insured, short but thorough classes that cover all required and necessary information, professional instruction by courteous, prompt, and fun instructors. All instruction performed by trained EMS personnel (Firefighters, EMT’s and Paramedics) that know how to teach and make the class entertaining and no subcontractors - this ensures the highest quality instruction.
How often should CPR and First Aid training occur? The old expression use it or lose it comes to mind. The American Heart Association CPR AED and First Aid certification cards are valid for a period of 2 years. Every 2 years may be sufficient for the actual training classes but safety drills, similar to the fire drills we had in school should be conducted on a regular basis. These drills apply what was learned in the classroom to real life scenarios that can occur on the job site.
